Wellicious: Reflecting on an Inspiring 2025
2025 has been a year of purpose, progress, and pride for Wellicious. From meaningful certifications and inspiring partnerships to community moments and product launches, it has been a year that truly reflected our values. Here are ten highlights that shaped our journey:
1. Yoga Retreat in Mauritius with Heritage Le Telfair & Tara Lee
We began the year in the most serene way imaginable: a beautiful yoga retreat at Heritage Le Telfair in Mauritius, led by renowned UK yoga teacher Tara Lee. Guests enjoyed soul-nourishing yoga sessions overlooking the ocean, paired with delicious food by the beach. The retreat was such a success that we’re already planning our return in 2026.
2. Joining the Positive Luxury Accelerator Programme
From November 2025, we proudly joined the Positive Luxury Accelerator Programme. This milestone supports our mission to scale sustainable, circular, toxin-free activewear while connecting with other conscious luxury brands. Positive Luxury are leaders in sustainability within the luxury industry, having helped brands raise standards for people and planet since 2011.
3. Awards & Industry Recognition
2025 brought recognition we are deeply grateful for. Wellicious was shortlisted for the Drapers Conscious Fashion Award 2025 in Textile Innovation, celebrating the integrity and innovation behind our fabrics. We were also shortlisted in three categories at Country & Town House’s Future Icons Awards 2026, and our founder, Heike Petersen Cunza, was nominated for the Circular System Challenger Award at the Fashion Pioneers Awards 2025. These moments remind us why circular design and community-led fashion matter.
4. Amelia Windsor Photoshoot
One of our true “pinch-me” moments in early December 2025 was shooting with Lady Amelia Windsor - British royal, fashion model, writer, and sustainability advocate. Amelia was effortlessly graceful and brought so much charm to our circular collection - check out some of the behind-the-scenes photos here. We cannot wait to share the final photos with you in 2026.
5. Stadium & Generous Ape Partnerships
We were thrilled to expand our reach through new partnerships with Stadium in the Nordic region and Generous Ape in the UK, making Wellicious accessible to even more conscious customers.
6. Wonderful Press Coverage
Throughout the year, Wellicious featured in publications including Hello Fashion, Knack Weekend, The Luxury Report, Women’s Fitness, Top Santé, Natural Health, and Health & Wellbeing. 7. Launch of Our New Circular & Cradle to Cradle Certified® Yoga Tops
We proudly launched a new collection of microplastic-free yoga and activewear tops; from relaxed cropped dance vests to classic tanks and sporty racer styles. Crafted from premium GOTS-certified organic cotton, these tops are non-toxic, skin-friendly, and free from harmful chemicals, designed to support both wellbeing and the environment.
8. Pop-Up at Peek & Cloppenburg, Berlin
Our new circular yoga tops made their debut at the Sustainable Pop-Up Store within the Conscious Fashion Store at Peek & Cloppenburg in Berlin - a special moment for connecting with the German conscious fashion community. Read more here.
9. Zero Waste Hairbands: Circular Design in Action
As part of our journey toward full circularity, we launched our Zero Waste Hairbands, thoughtfully made from leftover high-quality, Cradle to Cradle Certified® fabrics, proving that small details can make a meaningful difference.
10. New & Improved Leggings and Pants
Thanks to your invaluable feedback, we refined the fit of our bestselling toxin-free leggings and pants, making them even more comfortable while staying true to our design principles.
